It was written…
Every project ends with a walkthrough. Someone goes room to room - a house, an office floor, a courthouse hallway, it doesn't matter which - and writes down everything that's almost right. A hinge that sticks. A finish that looked perfect on the sample and wrong on the wall. That list has a name: the punch list. It's usually the last honest conversation anyone has about a space before everyone quietly agrees to stop looking.
We think that walkthrough always stops too soon. Nobody's punch list has ever flagged the light that's quietly wrecking your sleep, the hum you stopped consciously hearing around month two, or the one seat in the room that everybody silently fights over. The Arc Collective spends its days on buildings - homes, offices, public spaces - designed to be good for the nervous systems inside them, not just good in photographs. This is where we finish the list properly: plainly, a little irreverently, and without the jargon usually used to keep people out of their own decisions.
Nobody finished your punch list. Let's get to it…
